ESPS have been tested by each of these
natural disasters and other perils and have never suffered structural damage. Live
in any style of home you like, but be confident in the knowledge that your ESPS is
an absolute safe place to go should severe weather hit your area.
Build to your desires
Your EARTH SHELTER PROTECTIVE STRUCTURE (ESPS) can be built to your requirements as a custom vault for your valuables. Divide it into
seperate secure areas for your automobiles, wine collection, and so forth. Add an office or workout area above
your muscle car collection. Devote some space for your Stradivarius. An ESPS provides a constant temperature environment
that also allows for easy humidity control.
Don't mar your beautiful estate with a large metal building for your RV
- an ESPS can blend naturally into the landscape. You may have any kind of facade on the front to beautify or camouflage
the structure.
ESPS are very resistant to damage from fires
Unlike a conventional building, an ESPS has no combustible roof and fewer exposed external walls. Thus, an ESPS
is much less likely to suffer damage in a forest or brush fire than a conventional building.
ESPS are very resistant to extreme weather
Violent weather has no effect on any part of an ESPS except for windows and the exposed entry walls, which can
be protected by storm shutters or other devices. Nothing will freeze, even if left for months unheated.

Our buildings have withstood numerous earthquakes in California and Idaho with no damage even though buildings
around them were damaged. In fact, ESPS are very resistant to earthquakes.

In the late 1980's, one of our designs was involved in a government blast test. The ESPS, which was located 600
feet from the center of the blast, experienced no damage from a bomb equal to the size of the Hiroshima atomic
bomb. Since then, we built a shelter complex in Montana designed to house approximately 2,000 people. This complex
is capable of withstanding an 8.5 magnitude earthquake and a 1-megaton air burst at ground zero.
In summary, our buildings are well protected against extreme temperatures, wind, tornadoes, fire and other natural
disasters, as well as man-made threats. In addition to increased protection and security, PBSI structures offer
significant savings on utilities and maintenance - while providing a beautiful, light, comfortable and spacious
environment.
